Coming up we will talk about a project underway at Memory Grove Park, an apartment complex under review, and a street expansion happening near the University of Utah.
A portion of Memory Groves off leash dog area is closed until January 15. Salt Lake City Parks Division is building a sidewalk from Memory Grove to Austin stairs.
The area is currently wood chipped, but becomes unsafe with any water. The project will create a safer entrance to from A street to the off leash area.
156 East 900 South be could receiving 57 new residential units. Jacoby Architects submitted a design review and planned development to the city for the Maven Lofts. The application is for a 4-story, 45 foot tall building, which will require approval.
They are also, requesting an extra floor in the commercial corridor zone and a rooftop garden. The planning division will review the application against relevant zoning standards and consider comments from the public.
900 East to 100 South near University of Utah will be going under construction in the new year. The project is expected to roll out in spring or fall of 2021.
There will be a change in street design to meet the city code. A portion of the construction is being funded by the Funding our Futures project.
